How did Dormin come to be, what is he, and if that is him, then how did he escape from The Valley? Maybe he has wings or something like he does in the SotC ending when he takes over Wander? But then it makes you wonder if The Master of the Valley might have created him, but that begs the question of where did The Master come from? Maybe he's from an even more ancient civilization, or alien made? It makes me wonder if they tried to play off of this, but then we end up with even more questions. Thus it can be assumed that it is intended that Dormin refers to themself as "The Sleepers" or "The Sleeping".' Dormin's powers remain locked away in the Forbidden Lands, where he rests in the shrine waiting to be awoken by one who possesses the Ancient Sword to awaken him and bring forth his resurrection. Dormiēns is the present active participle of dormiō. 'Dormin is possibly a misconjugation of dormit (it sleeps) or play on the Latin word dormiō, which means sleep.

This is where the camera has a hard time trying to pan in on the boy. I have to say that I was not disappointed by The Last Guardian in any way, in fact it exceeded my expectations! Sure, the camera can be frustrating at times but once you know how Trico behaves there's no need to climb it in those tight spaces, like narrow corridors etc. but there is a trophy (Lightning Emissary) for finishing the game in under 5 hours! But I'm happy to announce that I finished the game without any help or hints, if I got stuck I just kept playing until a solution presented itself ) The first playthrough took me three days to complete as I was playing blind and really took my time to savor every little detail, the second was much quicker - around 11 hours I think. So here we are, post game release, and as of this moment I have played through the game four times.
